About DaesaNote
DaesaNote (대사노트) is a free script memorization and reading-practice web app. It hides your script sentence by sentence so you reveal and recall each line yourself. No account, works offline, and runs right on your device.
Why we made it
Reading a script over and over rarely makes it stick. DaesaNote was built so anyone can easily practice active recall (hiding lines and recalling them yourself) and spaced repetition (reviewing at increasing intervals). In short, it moves the old paper-and-cover method into an app.
Key features
- Automatic sentence splitting — paste a script and it splits at periods, question marks, and line breaks. In "Name: line" format, speakers are detected too.
- Full practice — go through the whole script line by line to practice the flow.
- Memorize mode — hide only your own lines and recall them while seeing the other lines.
- Record mode — record your own voice and listen back.
- Progress saving — your progress is kept so you can continue where you left off (up to 5 scripts).
Who it is for
Stage and film actors, voice-acting and dubbing practicers, audition and exam candidates, presenters and public speakers, language learners — anyone who needs to memorize scripts or sentences.
Platforms
It runs directly in the web browser and is also available as an Android app. All data is stored offline on your device, with no account.
