Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026.10.12. · This English version is a courtesy translation; the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the operator and users in connection with the use of DaesaNote (the "Service"), a script memorization and reading practice service provided by the operator, and the conditions of the paid service (Pro).

Article 2 (The Service)

1. The Service is a study tool that splits a script that the user pastes or imports into sentences and speakers, hides them, and helps the user memorize line by line and record and play back their practice. 2. The core features of the Service are free to use without signing in or paying. 3. The Service is provided as an Android app and a web version. Pro is not sold on the web version, and features and usage limits may differ between the app and the web version.

Article 3 (Accounts)

1. Signing in with a Google account is optional. You can use the core features without signing in. 2. Purchasing and restoring a Pro subscription is tied to your Google Play account and does not require signing in to the Service. 3. How account information is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.

Article 4 (Pro subscription and access)

1. The operator may offer the paid service "Pro" as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or lifetime access (a one-time payment). The price and billing period of each product are shown on the purchase screen, and displayed prices include value-added tax. 2. Pro users receive benefits within the scope set by the Service, such as removal of ads and the removal of limits on saved scripts, saved recordings and script length. Specific benefits follow what is shown on the purchase screen, and the operator may add benefits to improve the Service. 3. Payment is made through Google Play, and payment details (such as card numbers) are handled only by Google Play. 4. Monthly and annual subscriptions are charged when you confirm the purchase and renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. 5. For products that include a free trial (the 7-day free trial of the annual subscription), the price of that product is automatically charged when the trial ends, without further notice. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. Under Google Play policy, a free trial may be offered only once per account. 6. Lifetime access is the right to use Pro benefits for as long as the Service is operated, for a single payment, and does not renew. "Lifetime" means the operating life of the Service, not the user's lifetime. 7. If a subscription price changes, we will notify you in advance following Google Play's procedures, and you may cancel if you do not agree.

Article 5 (Cancelling a subscription)

1. You can cancel a subscription at any time in the Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. The [Manage subscription] item in the app takes you to that screen. 2. After you cancel, you can use Pro benefits until the end of the subscription period you have already paid for, and unused time is not refunded pro rata, except where a refund is available under applicable law and Google Play policy. 3. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Service account does not cancel a subscription. To stop billing you must cancel the subscription in Google Play. 4. When a subscription ends, the scripts and recordings you have already saved are not deleted. However, while you hold more than the free limits you cannot save additional scripts or recordings.

Article 6 (Refunds)

1. Refunds for subscriptions and lifetime access are handled under Google Play's refund policy, and you can request one through Google Play (Google Play refund information). 2. If the operator failed to provide the Service, or a defect in the Service prevents normal use, you may request a refund through the contact page, and the operator will handle it in accordance with applicable law and Google Play policy. 3. Nothing in these Terms limits any right of withdrawal or similar right that users have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Article 7 (User obligations)

1. Users must use the Service in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms, and must not interfere with the normal operation of the Service or improperly circumvent the purchase verification system. 2. Rights in the scripts that users enter or import belong to the user, and users are responsible for not using scripts that infringe the rights of others.

Article 8 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)

The operator may change or suspend all or part of the Service to improve it or for operational or technical reasons, and will give notice in advance through the app or website. If the paid service is discontinued, the unused portion of any period already paid for will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

Article 9 (Limitation of liability)

1. The operator is not liable when it cannot provide the Service due to reasons beyond its control, such as natural disasters or communication or store outages. 2. The Service is a tool to help with memorization and does not guarantee any study, exam or audition result. 3. If data stored only on a device (without signing in) is lost because the device is lost, reset or the app is uninstalled, the operator cannot recover it. Sign in to sync important scripts, or keep a copy elsewhere.

Article 10 (Contact)

For questions about the Service or payments, use the contact page or email [email protected].

Article 11 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute relating to the Service shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
